PenRight! Runtime Demonstration Diskette
This file, PENDEMO.ZIP, is an archive of three PenRight! applications (DEMO.EXE, POLICE.EXE and PENGAMES.EXE) that are to extracted and copied to the A: floppy drive. Once you have the files on the A: drive, please type INSTALL and these will be installed in your PENRIGHT directory for you. Once they are installed, you can simply type MENU to run our menu application. The menu application enables you to quickly look at the various PenRight! applications. These applications allow you to see what a PenRight! application looks like on DOS, and enables you to see some of the things PenRight! is capable of.
- DEMO.EXE
This application gives you an interactive demonstration of all PenRight! objects: forms, buttons, checkboxes, images, etc.
- POLICE.EXE
This application is an example of various industries working on mobilizing their workforce. This example demonstrates some ideas that can be implemented to mobilize the police forces of the world.
- PENGAMES.EXE
This application is a PenRight! version of the standard Solitaire game. Give this game a whirl.
PenRight! Tutorial Demonstration Diskette
This file, PRTDEMO.ZIP, is a single PenRight! application that demonstrates and explains the various benefits of the PenRight! environment. By extracting the file from this archive file (PRTUTOR.EXE) you can explore the following aspects of PenRight!:
- What is PenRight?
This item displays information about PenRight! and it's variety of interaction elements.
- PenRight! Gestures
This displays and allows you to work with the various gestures found in the PenRight! environment. Gestures include erasing text, moving text, etc.
- PenRight! Handwriting Recognition
This allows you to experiment with the PenRight! character recognition engine. Explore how to write all CAPITALS, all lowercase, etc. Experiment with writing and play the handwriting games.
- PenRight! Form Elements
This item displays all of the interface elements that can be found in the PenRight! environment. These include: push buttons, radio buttons, checkboxes, simple text, rectangles, frames, canvases, and more.
- PenRight! Crossword Puzzle
This displays the PenRight! crossword puzzle. Practice your handwriting while playing a crossword puzzle.
